Fares and how to pay
For the Whenua Tapu bus service, you pay a flat fare
using either a smart card or Cash
Adult Fare - $4.00 return
Child Fare - $2.00 return
Smartcard
A smartcard is a credit sized electronic "purse" that
allows you to purchase fares for most of our services, at a 20%
discount. It will cost you $10 to hire the card (refundable
if returned in resaleable condition) and a minimum of $10
prepaid travel. They can be purchased from the driver or
from our office, or buy online.
(the 20% discount does not apply to the Whenua Tapu
Fare)
