Martinborough Wine Trail and fairs!

Martinborough Country Fair

One fair held in February, the other in March.   You and a group have two chances to enjoy the ever-popular annual Martinborough Fair. More than 400 stalls selling a wide range of foods, goods, arts and crafts.

Toast Martinborough - Martinborough Wine & Food Festival

Take 1 hour and a half journey from the city, traverse a dramatic mountain range, and descend into another world. Held on the third Sunday in November Newlands Coach Services offer you single seats to the Martinborough Wine and Food festival. Heritage

Wanganui Heritage Weekend - in March of each year.
Step back in time and join Wanganui in their annual 'celebration of our people and heritage'.  Ladies dress for the annual event in long skirts and bustles, gentlemen dust off their top hats and stroll the streets of Wanganui, and children enjoy the pleasure of a by-gone era.

Arts n Craft

Whanganui Artists Open Studios
See artists in their studios!  Every year, the artists of Wanganui open their doors, free of charge, for a whole weekend. Enjoy the diverse range of art on display and for sale.
Get a group of art lovers together, hire a coach with us, and put a side a weekend to get the chance to view some work of art and have the opportunity to talk directly to Wanganui artists.
